Is Renters Insurance Necessary?

1. No, Renter's Insurance is not required, but recommended. This will insure your personal property against theft or damage. 
2. Your personal property is not covered or insured by IVProperties or the property owner in the case of plumbing leaks, water intrusion, fire, flooding, theft, etc.
3. Renter's insurance is most often obtained through an existing insurance policy such as automobile or homeowner's insurance carried by your parent or guardian.
4. Liability Insurance is required, please refer to your Lease for limit requirements.
